In aid of Veterans Outreach Support (VOS) a Charity, which helps Ex Armed Forces Personnel and their families finding the right help with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Welfare Support and other conditions, they have drop-in Centres in Portsmouth, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight
Departed Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, to circumnavigate UK.
1500nm 7 weeks, 2 crew, 43ft steel ketch, Aries.

Ex Army Veteran from Hereford, with 18 years service to Queen and Country, served 5 Tours in Northern Ireland and Bosnia, plus other places around the world, unfortunately suffers from complex PTSD, Ex Finance Bank Manager in Jersey Channel Islands. Due to his illness he has had to give up stressfull occupations,he finds the sea and Oceans very therapeutic, calming and helps with his condition, he has sailed all Oceans around the world, the Pacific Ocean, Atlantic Ocean etc on various yachts over the years, he is doing this challenge to support Veterans Outreach Support (VOS) as this Charity is helping him getting back to normal. Now lives in Totland Bay on the Isle of Wight
